Lang Syne Publishing started off a a straightforward good old fashioned book publisher and produced a range of Scottish books. Subjects included Scottish horror stories, ghosts, castles, scots languages, clan novels, children’s history books, scottish culture and more. Soon afterwards we offered some Scottish memorabilia to satisfy the demand for Scottish novelty and fun products in Scotland the UK and throughout the world.


Publishing a range of Scottish culture and history products and family products are the very core of Lang Syne Publishing. We aim to maintain our focused approach as we add to our range (particularly our Family Surname History Books) as we continue to satisfy the curiosity of family new researchers old and young thought the world.

Over the years we have produced  a wide range of products. Some of our more outlandish Scottish gifts and novelty products are deleted from our catalogue and are no longer available to purchase from our online store.
